A Better Resurrection (Hebrews 11.32-40)

We have been studying the letter to the Hebrews and we have said most every week that this letter was written to first-century urban Christians who were suffering and who were overwhelmed by the difficulties of life and about to give up.

Each week we have seen that the author points out how they can stand firm and how they can overcome in really difficult times.  And today we come to the end of a long section where the writer has been offering a resource to these people beaten down by life and telling them that if they have this they will be able to stand strong in really difficult times and circumstances.  If you had access to such a resource to stand firm when life was really hard, would you take it?

Let’s read what the author of Hebrews is saying and then ask two simple questions of the passage.  What is this resource? And how do we get it?
